STI CEMS is an integrated monitoring solution for regulated emission markets - such as manufacturing, power generation, etc.. They approached me seeking an updated look that was better suited to their company's growth and success. Moreover, to establish successful visuals, we worked through the brand's foundational messages, tone of voice and positioning that felt in line with who the company really is. They wanted to keep their trademark green and offer homage to the original green "dot". The result is the S inspired cylinder that mimics the twist of a smokestacks' plume. During the customer phone interview phase of the branding process I heard them described as "confident" over and over. In keeping with this personality trait, we used "integrating confidence" as the company tagline to play off of the term "integration" (a common market specific phrase) and "confidence" as something they not only have, but instill to their customers with every CEM system they service, install or maintain.
