Arkansans for the Arts

Arkansans for the Arts | Little Rock, AR | October 2015 The objective was to create a loogo reflecting the organization’s core goal to make the arts a part everyday life in Arkansas through education, information and economic advancement. The logo icon solution visually compiles the group’s focus successfully without leaning towards one branch of creative activity. Contrasting the letters of the state abbreviation, AR, within the word ARTS, gives viewers a sense that this group and the state already have their hands all over the arts. A thick, monoweight frame around the word ARTS is also a speech bubble that seems to quite literally make ARTS a part of each breath, word, and thought of the organization.
